Edward Lampert – Vice President: I wanted someone young to be second in command. At age 43, Lampert is a self-made billionaire and Chairman of ESL Investments.
Donny Deutsch – Director of Advertising: With his Madison Avenue ad agency he is one of the most successful advertising experts ever. And, with his own CNBC talk show, The Big Idea, who better than to fill this role. After all, the executive dream team will definitely need a big idea to make Uber Company a success.
Jay Conrad Levinson – Director of Marketing: The father of Guerrilla Marketing, Jay Conrad Levinson, will be in charge of the marketing department.
Richard Branson – Director of Public Relations: Branson, founder of the Virgin group of companies, is the expert in generating free publicity. Recently his company ran an advertising campaign in Canada which used nurses as sex objects; this upset the Canadian Nurses Association and garnered so much free publicity. Not only that, he is master of publicity stunts such as dangling himself from a crane in New York City at the launch of Virgin Mobile USA. Perhaps, this group would not even need to seek free publicity. Having a business group like this get together would naturally attract media interest.
Mark Cuban – VP of Public Relations: Mark Cuban already has reality show experience with last year’s show The Benefactor. Plus, he already has a popular blog, Blog Maverick, that he can use as an online public relations tool.
